Shipping Policy

At Designs By Joy (operated by Nifty Tech LLC), we strive to get your custom-designed products (like mouse pads, t-shirts, and more) to you as quickly and reliably as possible. All orders are processed and shipped from our facility in Italy, Texas. We are not drop shippers. Below, you'll find detailed information about our shipping methods, timelines, costs, and what to expect. We use reputable carriers to ensure safe delivery.

1. Processing Time

  • Orders are processed and printed within 1-3 business days. Once shipped, delivery takes 3-5 business days. Custom-made items may take an additional 1-2 days for production to ensure quality. 
  • You'll receive an email confirmation with tracking details once your order ships. If there's a delay (e.g., due to high demand or customization), we'll notify you promptly.
  • We do not drop ship our products. All t-shirts and mouse pads are made designed and pressed right here in our Texas warehouse. 

2. Shipping Methods and Carriers

For all US Shipments:

  • We ship via USPS or UPS. You can select your preferred method at checkout if options are available.
  • Standard shipping is USPS for most orders.

For All International Shipments:

  • We ship via USPS or UPS. You can select your preferred method at checkout if options are available.
  • Standard shipping is UPS for most orders.

3. Shipping Rates

  • Rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, destination, and selected method. Starting rates:
    • Domestic (USA): $4.99 for standard shipping on orders under $50; free on orders over $75. 
    • Additional fees may apply for oversized items or expedited options (e.g., $10-20 for 2-day delivery).
  • Taxes, duties, or customs fees (for international orders) are the customer's responsibility and not included in our rates.
  • We do not mark up shipping costs—what you see is what we pay the carrier, plus a small handling fee of $1-2 to cover packaging materials.

4. Delivery Timelines

  • Domestic (USA): 3-5 business days for standard shipping after processing. Expedited options: 1-3 business days. 
  • International: 7-21 business days depending on the destination and customs clearance. Note: We currently ship to USA, Canada, EU countries. If your country isn't supported, contact us for options. 
  • Timelines are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or holidays. We are not responsible for delays beyond our control, but we'll assist with tracking. No refunds of postage will be given due to late delivery by the carrier. 

5. Shipping Restrictions

  • We ship to physical addresses only—no PO Boxes for certain carriers or oversized items.We can ship to a PO BOX if you use USPS. 
  • Prohibited items: We do not ship hazardous materials or items restricted by law.
  • APO/FPO addresses: Supported via USPS, but timelines may be longer.

6. Order Tracking

  • Once shipped, you'll get a tracking number via email. Track your package on the carrier's website or through your account on our site.
  • If your order hasn't arrived within 14 days of the estimated delivery, contact us at sales@designsbyjoy.com.

7. Lost or Damaged Shipments

  • If a package is lost or damaged in transit, file a claim with us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. Provide photos of damage if applicable.
  • We'll work with the carrier to resolve it—options include reshipping or a refund (per our Refund Policy). We're not liable for carrier errors, but we'll advocate on your behalf the best we can.

8. Address Accuracy

  • You're responsible for providing a correct shipping address at checkout. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, reshipping fees will apply. Undeliverable packages may be refunded minus original shipping costs.

9. Changes to This Policy

  • We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted here with the effective date. Your continued use of our site after updates constitutes acceptance.
